Pat + Kelly | Surprise Point Park Proposal | Chattanooga Engagement Photographer

Pat and Kelly’s surprise Point Park proposal was so sweet, it felt like something straight out of a romance movie! Pat was already planning to pop the question during the couple’s vacation to Chattanooga, Tennessee, and he wanted my help finding the right place to get down on one knee. I suggested Point Park, one of my favorite Chattanooga and North Georgia photo locations, for its incredibly scenic views. He agreed it would be the perfect spot!

When the big day rolled around, I snuck over before Pat and Kelly arrived to mark the exact proposal location with a bouquet of flowers. Then, I set up on a blanket nearby and pretended to read until it was officially showtime! Even from a distance, I could tell Kelly was so excited and emotional when Pat asked her to marry him. Everyone at the park cheered when she said yes, and I popped out for the big reveal. Seeing the pure joy and love shared by Pat and Kelly in those first moments as fiancés was incredibly special, and we spent golden hour taking engagement portraits around the park’s beautiful property.

Congratulations, again, to Pat and Kelly—I’m so excited and grateful I could document this milestone for you!
