My Family Wildflower Mini with the Odoms is such a beautiful example of the magic that happens when a community comes together to support one another. In early August, I hosted a full day of Mini Sessions at Town Creek Field and Farm to benefit the Willingham family. The Willinghams had been through a lot this summer, and I knew there were other local families who might want to show their love and support while honoring them and those they had lost. The Odom family was one such family, and I’m so happy to share some of the memories we created!

This was my first time meeting Nick, Jovi, and their daughters, Elli Kate, Margaret, and HadleyAnn, but it immediately felt like we’d been friends for years. The Odom family’s warmth and genuine kindness made our time together so much fun, and those 15 minutes absolutely flew by. After their session, Jovi sent me the sweetest message saying she was on the verge of tears when she saw their photos—which is exactly what every photographer hopes to hear! I LOVE creating photographs that really mean something to you and your family. It is such an honor to help you hold onto special memories like these.

I’m so grateful I had the chance to connect with the Odom family, and I’m especially appreciative that they worked with me to give back to the Willinghams during such a difficult season. Please enjoy these highlights from our time together at the always-stunning Town Creek Field and Farm!
