The De Leon Family | Family Beach Session at Orange Beach | Alabama Family Photographer

This Family Beach Session at Orange Beach was the perfect opportunity for the De Leons to make sweet summer memories they’ll cherish forever. I first connected with this awesome crew through Alex after photographing her side of the family in 2021. A year later, I also documented her sister Claudia and her husband Zach’s Anniversary Session in Dallas, Texas. And here’s another fun connection: Claudia is friends with Steph and Marty, who you might recognize from their epic Phoenix Adventure Couple Session in 2023. Small world, huh?!

My tradition of taking photos for the De Leons began in 2024 when we connected for an Orange Beach Family Session, which was actually their first time taking photos with all 17 (now 18!) family members together. I was so honored to be a part of such a meaningful milestone! Reuniting with them two years later reminded me just how incredible the De Leon family is and how much I appreciate them.

Every member of the De Leon family radiates joy, and it’s impossible not to smile when you’re around them. I swear they get more photogenic every year! It was especially fun to see how much the youngest kiddos have grown since our last session. One of my favorite parts of working with large families is highlighting the unique relationships between parents, siblings, cousins, grandparents, and every generation in between. From piggyback rides and splashing in the waves to twirling barefoot in the sand, these candid moments perfectly captured the warmth, love, and joy that define the De Leons.

Photographing the De Leon family is always a highlight of my Beach Session season, and I’m so thankful we’ve stayed connected over the years. I already can’t wait for the next one!
