The Simonson Family | Little River Falls Family Session | Fort Payne Family Photographer

My Little River Falls Family Session with the Simonsons reunited me with some of my favorite people at one of my favorite locations in Fort Payne! I’ve been photographing Amanda and Jeff since they first announced they were expecting their son, Hendricks. The family lives in Florida, and while I usually take beach photos for them, this time they drove all the way up to North Alabama to visit my neck of the woods! It worked out beautifully because Amanda is from the Pacific Northwest and said Little River Falls reminded her of home, which made our session that much more special.

Little River Falls is quickly becoming my go-to session spot in Fort Payne because it’s so naturally stunning. There are lots of areas to explore around the waterfall, so Hendricks stayed busy splashing in the river and climbing rocks with the help of Mom and Dad. Amanda and Jeff are truly wonderful parents, and I love the sense of adventure they’ve instilled in Hendricks from such a young age. Photographing the Simonson family never gets old, and I can’t wait for our next session!
