Tristan + Zachary | Fairytale Forest Wedding in Fort Payne | North Alabama Wedding Photographer

Tristan and Zachary had the dreamiest fairytale forest wedding in Fort Payne, and I’m so honored I was there to document it! This sweet couple tied the knot at Tristan’s childhood home, a gorgeous property owned by her grandparents, John and Kyle Dersham (who also walked her down the aisle and helped coordinate the day). It was important to Tristan to preserve memories in a place so near and dear to her heart, and I was thrilled to help bring her whimsical woodland fairy vision to life. Fun fact: John is a professional photographer himself and kindly showed me his collection of vintage film cameras before the nuptials, which I totally nerded out over!

I absolutely adored Tristan’s ethereal dress from B. Bridal Gowns, which was perfectly complemented by her beautiful hairstyling by Lisa at Graykin Hair & Makeup Services. She made a stunning bride, and you could tell Zachary agreed by the literal heart eyes he gave her all day long. The purple color palette woven throughout the wedding party attire, florals, and décor was another unique touch that perfectly reflected the couple’s fun-loving personalities.

During their intimate ceremony, Tristan and Zachary participated in a heartwarming knot-tying ritual and exchanged roses to symbolize their love and commitment to one another, creating a sweet moment that had everyone smiling. Then, it was time for the new Mr. and Mrs. to celebrate with their loved ones! Rita’s Cocina catered delicious bites to fuel the festivities, and guests spent the reception enjoying each other’s company and toasting the newlyweds.

I’m so grateful I got to be a part of this fairytale forest wedding. Thank you and congratulations again, Tristan and Zachary!
