My Swift-Coles Historic Home Family Documentary Session with the Shroyers is what Southern dreams are made of! While the Shroyer family lives in Ohio, they spent Spring Break in Alabama and wanted to take advantage of the change of scenery with a family photoshoot. Desirae (aka Mom) told me they wanted a non-beach location with plenty of charm, history, and foliage. I instantly knew Swift-Coles Historic Home would be the perfect spot!

This enchanting property in Bon Secour looks like it was pulled from the set of Sweet Home Alabama or Hart of Dixie. The home has a gorgeous wraparound porch, and the surrounding gardens are a stunning place to spend an afternoon. There’s a $50 fee to use the Swift-Coles Historic Home grounds, but it’s so worth it, in my opinion.
