Zack + Logan | Family Destination Elopement | Florida Wedding Photographer

Okay y’all, this might be my favorite family destination elopement to date because it involves some very special people: my brother and his gorgeous new wife! Zack, whom I call Bubbie, is my little brother and one of my favorite people in the whole world. He managed to find a woman who not only accepts his quirks and “very Lambert” sense of humor, but actually loves them – and that’s saying something (you know I love you, Zack)! He and Logan are a gorgeous couple, and I’m so honored I got to photograph their special day.

I’ve photographed Logan a couple of times in the past, and even though she always brings something special to my lens, she took it to a whole new level for the elopement. Talk about a hot mama! Her dress was to die for and gave me all the fluffy gown drama my photographer heart could want. 

Their elopement was small and intimate and so incredibly sweet. Logan’s three boys, some of the cutest kiddos ever, joined the happy couple. How blessed am I to have gained not only a sister but also three adorable nephews? They chose to have their photos made at Fort Pickens in Pensacola Beach, which is a beautiful destination and made the perfect backdrop. 

The afternoon was just so sweet and perfect – we walked around for a little while, stopping in some cool spots for photo ops, then when we got to a cool-looking spot, we stopped. Brooks read vows from his phone, and Zack and Logan repeated them and promised them to each other. After the sweetest vow exchange, we enjoyed a magical sunset photo sesh with the newlyweds, then had a family dinner. It was perfect.

I’ll always cherish that I could be a part of their elopement and document the day for them. I hope they look back on these photos and smile for many years! (Especially the ones of Zack frolicking in a field.) 

Zack, Logan, Brooks, Bennett, and Briggman – you make such a beautiful family, and I wish you all the best as you start this new life together. I’m so excited to welcome Logan and her boys into the family, and I look forward to many more sessions with them to come. Join me in wishing these two a huge congratulations!
