I had the pleasure of photographing Emily and Christopher’s gorgeous Izenstone summer wedding in Spanish Fort. Soon-to-be brides know it’s never too early to start planning ahead, so if you’re a summer 2023 (or even 2024!) bride searching for some inspiration, look no further.
The rustic barn at Izenstone was the perfect setting for Emily and Christopher’s rustic wedding, and their coordinator, Veronica Bishop with Coastal Alabama Events, did a great job seamlessly tying everything together. I loved all the sunflowers that Emily and Christopher incorporated into their wedding day, including in the bride’s bouquet! Speaking of the bride, Emily was drop-dead gorgeous in her David’s Bridal dress. One of my favorite moments from the day was watching Christopher see her for the first time as she walked down the aisle – cue the happy tears!
After the ceremony, everyone gathered for the reception where Emily and Christopher hilariously cut their wedding cake with a literal sword. Can’t say I’ve seen that one before! Food was provided by Moe’s Original BBQ and DJ Patrick Danahar with Gulf Coast Sounds kept the party going well into the night. The whole day was filled with lots of laughter and smiles which seriously warmed my heart, and I’m so glad I was able to be a part of their special day.
Please reach out if you’re looking for a wedding photographer. I’d be honored to document your big day!

Jessi
