I loved my Cloudland Canyon Adventure Couple Session with Madeline and Ryan so much that I'm splitting it into two parts! We explored so many beautiful areas that I couldn't fit them all into one post, so stay tuned for the second part of our time together: golden hour at the overlook.
Our session began with a hike along the Waterfalls Trail, which descends about one mile into the canyon. I was immediately obsessed with Madeline and Ryan's fun-loving, sweet couple vibe—you can tell they're best friends and deeply care for each other. The trail had beautiful foliage and rock formations, eventually leading us to the 90-foot Hemlock Falls.
These two were up for anything, even wading barefoot in the cold water! We captured some stunning photos around the waterfall without anyone falling, which I consider a huge success. Madeline also brought a sweatshirt commemorating her alma mater, which was an adorable touch.
The hike back out of the canyon was no joke, and we tackled 1200 stairs altogether! Then, it was time for a quick outfit change before the sun slowly began to dip in the sky. Photographing Madeline and Ryan was a ton of fun, and I can't wait for you to see the next round of photos.
