As a Gulf Coast wedding photographer, I've captured wedding day memories at many venues throughout Alabama and Florida. The Gulf Coast is a gorgeous area to tie the knot, but settling on a venue can be challenging with all the stunning options. I'm here to help with my favorite wedding venues in the Gulf Coast, from Grand Bay, Alabama, to Gulf Breeze, Florida.
When you think of these areas, you usually think of the beach (and rightfully so), but I am here to tell you there are SO MANY other options with everything you want for your wedding day, from romantic to whimsical or moody vibes. 1. Sacred Heart Chapel - Fairhope, AL
I LOVE a classic church wedding, so if you're looking for that traditional chapel vibe, along with waterfront views, Sacred Heart Chapel might be the spot for you. I especially love the old wooden pews and stained glass windows inside, plus the big front porch makes a great spot for photo ops. They also have a small cottage to the church's right where the bridal party can get ready. As a bonus, everything is set right on Mobile Bay.
2. Hatcher Farms Venue - Mobile, AL
One of my favorite features of Hatcher Farms Venue is the outdoor fireplace area—a picture-perfect backdrop for tying the knot! They also have gorgeous trees, a beautiful winding fence line, a room to get ready in, a cute gazebo, AND a really cool getaway car.

3. The Hotel Magnolia - Foley, AL
Nestled in the heart of historic downtown Foley, the Hotel Magnolia is the perfect setting for timeless wedding portraits and is located across the street from John B. Foley Park. This park is home to the Model Train Exhibit and the Antique Rose Trail, which are incredible backdrops for newlywed photos.
4. The Venue at Whiskey Ridge - Silverhill, AL
Located in my hometown of Silverhill, the Venue at Whiskey Ridge is a gorgeous setting for modern rustic weddings, thanks to the venue's stunning modern barn and scenic outdoor space. It has one of the most photogenic trees I've ever seen—plus, check out that massive stone fireplace!
5. Historic Blakeley State Park - Spanish Fort, AL
Historic Blakeley State Park is not only a BEAUTIFUL spot for hikes, picnics, and walks, but it's also a stunning place to get married. Surrounded by giant oaks and all that nature offers, it also has an adorable gazebo for intimate gatherings, plus the Wehle Center, great for larger groups and reception gatherings.
6. Veranda at the Preserve - Elberta, AL
Veranda at the Preserve is located on a chic golf course with picturesque landscaping. I love how much room there is to spread out at the Veranda—you could even set up an area for field games to entertain guests before and after the ceremony! And that swing is one of my fave spots for bridal party pics.
7. Little Point Clear Suites & Space - Fairhope, AL
This unique venue combines coastal charm with Southern elegance—one of my favorite aspects about Little Point Clear Suites & Space (besides the sweet retro VW van they let you borrow for photo ops) is the amazing guest suites and bridal party spaces. I really love the rooms you can get ready in here, which makes a huge difference to us photographers. Lots of natural light and pretty places to hang dresses, plus plenty of space for your entire bridal party.
8. All Saints Episcopal Church - Mobile, AL
All Saints Episcopal Church offers a slice of European old-world aesthetic in the heart of Mobile. There are many hidden gems to discover on the All Saints property, making it a photographer's paradise. From the eye-catching stonework to the dreamy interior, this church is equally regal and charming.
9. Izenstone - Spanish Fort, AL
Not only does Izenstone have indoor and outdoor areas, but it also has multiple wedding areas for you to use. From getting-ready spaces to First Look nooks, several ceremony options, and a spacious indoor/outdoor reception area, this is a great venue for intimate and large gatherings alike. Not only is the building itself picturesque but the courtyard and pond with the covered bridge are incredible as well.
10. The Admiral Hotel - Mobile, AL
Looking for a taste of Old Hollywood in Alabama? The chandeliers, mirrors, and scenic balconies make the Admiral Hotel the perfect spot. This downtown Mobile wedding venue has striking city views but feels intimate and exclusive.
11. Historic Malbis Nursery - Daphne, AL
If you want a romantic and versatile outdoor wedding space, Historic Malbis Nursery in Daphne is the venue to beat. Tie the knot surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers at this working nursery. Whether you have an intimate or large affair, Historic Malbis Nursery can accommodate groups of all sizes.

12. Oak Hollow Farm - Fairhope, AL
Oak Hollow Farm in Fairhope is a truly stunning property with over 300 acres of gorgeous countryside. The farm is family-owned, going back six generations, and they've really made it feel like home. Oak Hollow is known for the beautiful bowing branches surrounding the idyllic ceremony space and, of course, the rustic barn area where friends and family can gather to eat and dance the night away.
13. St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Parish - Foley, AL
St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Parish, located in Foley, is equally picturesque inside and out. With an awe-inspiring sanctuary and well-manicured property, St. Margaret is ideal for couples planning a classic Catholic wedding ceremony.

14. Baldwin County Bicentennial Park - Stockton, AL
Baldwin County Bicentennial Park is a huge property in Stockton with 367 acres of gorgeous trees and fields and an adorable little chapel built in 1895. It even includes the original pews, pulpit, chandeliers, and stained glass windows! I will say that there isn't really a place for getting ready or for the reception, but it's perfect for portraits and an intimate ceremony.

15. Five Rivers Delta - Spanish Fort, AL
Five Rivers Delta in Spanish Fort is the ideal place to host a waterfront wedding. The idyllic docks and boardwalks are perfect for sunset bridal and newlywed portraits. If you have a laid-back, bohemian vibe, you'll love Five Rivers Delta!
16. Palafox Wharf - Pensacola, FL
Palafox Wharf is one of my favorite wedding venues in Pensacola. I love the red-brick backdrops and gorgeous waterfront views. This is the perfect setting for an intimate, elegant Florida wedding.
17. The Elizabeth in Grand Bay - Grand Bay, AL
Rain or shine, the Elizabeth in Grand Bay is a gorgeous outdoor escape surrounded by towering trees. I love the getting-ready rooms, the balcony, and all the vintage furniture and decor! The Elizabeth has an intimate, whimsical atmosphere you can fully make your own.
18. Belforest Pointe - Daphne, AL
Oh, how I love the rustic charm of Belforest Pointe in Daphne. This expansive wedding venue is well-known in the area for its outdoor areas and spacious open-concept ceremony space. Belforest Pointe is minimalist but chic, making it a versatile location for weddings of all sizes.
19. Sowell Farms - Milton, FL
Sowell Farms is a picture-perfect wedding venue in Florida for a classic Southern wedding. The star of this spot is the cozy yet elegant barn, but the whole property is beautiful. From huge, 100-year-old trees to jaw-dropping sunset photo ops, Sowell Farms guarantees an unforgettable wedding day.
