Emmy | Fort Morgan Senior Adventure Session | Alabama Senior Photographer

In honor of the back-to-school season, I’m sharing an insanely fun Fort Morgan Senior Adventure Session I got to shoot with the beautiful Emmy!

Emmy is seriously a supermodel and was serving looks all day long. My Senior Adventure Sessions include several outfit changes and locations, so Emmy brought a few adorable outfits for me to photograph her in. I love the contrast between the natural landscape of Fort Morgan and the urban brickwork ruins—they create a super unique editorial background that gives photos some interesting angles and perspectives. 

I love how Emmy planned her outfits to complement the different backdrops we used throughout Fort Morgan. For a lot of the outdoor shots, she opted for a flowy, feminine dress that had some beautiful movement and body. When I photographed her inside the fort, in an edgier setting, she paired trendy cargo pants with heels and a cropped tank. Emmy has a great sense of style, so her photos really popped, and she’s a natural in front of the camera. Once I gave her some of my go-to poses, she really went with it and was able to make it work for her so beautifully!

I also love how we were able to incorporate multiple locations for Emmy’s Adventure Session. In addition to the Fort, Emmy also wanted to incorporate water since that’s something else she loves, so we also had a fun rock jetty location for her—and one of my favorite Gulf Shores beach access points that is both beautiful and secluded. It worked out perfectly!
