It’s officially engagement season so I’m celebrating with Teresa and Mike’s intimate, low-key Nature Engagement Session at Blakeley State Park. Teresa knew she wanted something outdoors with pretty oak trees and a rustic vibe, so Blakeley was the perfect spot to make all of her Outdoor Engagement Session dreams come true.
This couple also holds a special place in my heart because I’ve known Teresa for over a decade! When Teresa first moved to the Fairhope area, she hired me to babysit her then 3 and 11-year old kids, who were joined by a new baby sibling. I spent a lot of time getting to know this sweet family while watching Teresa’s kids on and off for about five years. Eventually, I stopped babysitting for Teresa after going full-time with photography, but she and her kids continued to hold a piece of my heart.
Teresa and her family have been through a lot, so I know how special it’s been for her to connect with fiancé, Mike. This Engagement Session was my first time meeting Mike, but I could immediately see how much love he has for Teresa. Mike and Teresa have such a close and special bond—I was so thrilled to capture these engagement photos for them!
Join me in wishing the happy couple a huge congratulations on their engagement! Are you recently engaged? I’d love to document this special time for you. Please reach out, and let’s make it happen!
xo,
Jessi
