It’ll be love at first sight when you see these wedding venues with a view in the Chattanooga area! Southeast Tennessee, Northwest Georgia, and North Alabama are full of beautiful places where you can say “I do” among the mountains. As a wedding photographer lucky enough to call this region home, I’ve discovered some incredible photo spots perfect for couples planning to tie the knot. Here are my favorite wedding venues with a view in the Chattanooga area—in no particular order!

1. Cloudland Canyon State Park – Rising Fawn, GA

Cloudland Canyon will always be one of my favorite North Georgia photo locations—especially for weddings. The overlook is a fabulous place to host a small ceremony if you want to get married in front of a gorgeous mountain backdrop.

I also love the Cloudland Canyon overlook for newlywed portraits because there’s plenty of space for couples to explore, twirl, and cuddle up. The park is truly beautiful year-round, but I’m a sucker for fall when the leaves are vibrant shades of red, orange, and yellow.

2. Grandview – Lookout Mountain, GA

If you’ve always dreamed of getting married atop a mountain, Grandview might be the wedding venue for you. Located on the Georgia side of Lookout Mountain, this spot has a postcard-worthy outdoor patio with dramatic views of the surrounding landscape and Chattanooga below. The property also features a mansion that’s incredibly chic and romantic, providing ample variety for taking photos.

3. Little Cabin on the Farm – Rising Fawn, GA

Another excellent mountaintop option is Little Cabin on the Farm. This family-owned venue boasts 45 acres, and the scenery is absolutely unbeatable. The ceremony site is a rocky outcrop perched atop a bluff, so you can say “I do” while surrounded by nature. Talk about a real-life fairytale!

4. The Rock House – Rising Fawn, GA

For an intimate location overlooking Chattanooga, consider The Rock House in Rising Fawn, Georgia. The home is airy and spacious, with ample deck space to accommodate an outdoor ceremony. It’s also a dreamy setting for newlywed photos, thanks to the unobstructed views of the rolling hills.

5. Crest View – Fort Payne, AL

Crest View is one of my top choices if you’re based in North Alabama. It’s located in the heart of the woods on Lookout Mountain, creating a sense of privacy and seclusion. Despite being less than an hour outside of Chattanooga, Crest View truly feels like a hidden oasis. Tying the knot here underneath the towering trees is an unforgettable experience.
