There’s no place like home for an Adventure Couple Session—especially when your home is as beautiful as Katherine and Andrew’s. Remember my Cloudland Canyon Adventure Couple Session with Madeline and Ryan? Well, Katherine did Madeline’s makeup for that shoot, which is how she found me! I love connecting with new people through previous clients, and I’m so happy Katherine decided to reach out about a session with her husband, Andrew, and their adorable puppy, Thor.

Katherine and Andrew wanted to document some special memories of married life in their first home together in Ringgold, Georgia. We started our At-Home Adventure Couple Session in their kitchen baking chocolate chip cookies from Magnolia Table Cookbook (thanks, Joanna Gaines). Consider this my official petition for every session to involve sweet treats! After whipping up some delicious goodies, we moved into the living room. Katherine let me know that Andrew loves playing guitar, so I made sure to highlight his musical side. Photographing these two in their home gave me all the cozy, lovey-dovey vibes, which continued when we headed outside to explore the property.

Andrew brought his guitar along as we frolicked through the fields, and the beautiful setting made me feel like we had wandered into a music video! Of course, Thor was there to bring some comic relief with his chaotic puppy energy. We wrapped up our At-Home Adventure Couple Session at a gorgeous creek on Katherine and Andrew’s property. The thick greenery was the perfect backdrop for some intimate couple shots and cute family photos with Thor.

I can’t thank Katherine and Andrew enough for welcoming me into their home!
