Shannon | Adventure Graduation Session in the Mountains | Arizona Senior Photographer

This Adventure Graduation Session with Shannon in Phoenix, Arizona was a literal dream come true! Ever since my 2023 Phoenix Adventure Couple Session with Steph and Marty, I’ve been dying to return to Arizona. I fell in love with the desert landscape and stunning contrast between the hustle and bustle of downtown Phoenix and the rugged beauty of the surrounding mountains. So, when the opportunity for another Arizona trip presented itself, I was immediately onboard.

Shannon recently completed the Master of Sustainability Leadership program Arizona State University—an INCREDIBLE accomplishment! I was honored to attend the graduation ceremony and capture some shots of her around campus, with her favorite peeps, and enjoying a celebratory meal at In-N-Out (making this my second Senior Session featuring an iconic fast-food burger chain). Then, the real fun began: hiking Piestewa Peak for unreal views of the mountains and Phoenix below.

The Piestewa Peak Summit Trail is no joke, but we made it to the top just in time for Shannon to don her cap and gown ahead of sunset. She looked like a certified Butt-Kicker chilling on the mountaintop in her graduation ‘fit! The dramatic mountain setting perfectly encapsulated Shannon’s tenacious, lively spirit and deep love for the outdoors. I couldn’t be prouder of this amazing, trailblazing woman—join me in wishing her a HUGE con-grad-ulations! (See what I did there? 🤪)
