The Lightfoot Family | Picnic in the Park Outdoor Family Session | Alabama Family Photographer

There’s nothing I love more than a fun Outdoor Family Session with multiple generations of grandparents, parents, and kids. The Lightfoot family joined me for a Picnic in the Park-themed session at Oscar Johnson Park, one of my favorite Alabama photo spots. This sweet family is near and dear to my heart because Tammy, the gorgeous mom in pink, has been like a sister to me for over three decades!

Words can’t describe how special it’s been to grow up alongside Tam and watch her family grow. Since the entire Lightfoot family loves being outdoors, the park was the perfect place to explore. We played in the creek, the boys fished, and Tam and I sneaked off for some forest-inspired portraits. Of course, we also set up an adorable picnic complete with storybooks and macarons. 

I can’t thank the Lightfoots enough for letting me capture this family time for them!
