Lacie + Paige | Fort Pickens Surprise Proposal and Engagement Session | Florida Photographer

Proposals are some of my favorite sessions to shoot because nothing beats the experience of capturing such a life-changing moment. I had the pleasure of photographing Lacie and Paige’s Fort Pickens surprise proposal and Engagement Session, and the whole day was full of love, laughs, and happy tears.

Lacie and Paige have the coolest vibe and make an adorable couple. I love their sense of style and it’s so easy to see that they love each other a ton. When Lacie told me she was planning to turn this Couple Session into a surprise proposal, I was all in! I love getting in on the fun and helping stage surprise proposals. At the fort, I had Paige turn her back so she’d think Lacie was going to give her a hug from behind—once she turned around and saw Lacie on one knee, all the emotions began to hit!

The day was made even more special when Paige’s parents joined towards the end of the session to celebrate the newly engaged couple. Cue all the warm and fuzzy feelings! We had a great time exploring the gorgeous ruins of Fort Pickens and snapping Lacie and Paige’s first official pictures as fiancés.
