2023 Motherhood Minis Recap + THANK YOU | North Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee Family Photographer

I’m so excited to be sharing this Motherhood Minis recap of all the gorgeous moms and moms-to-be I photographed for Mother’s Day this year, and to say thank you to everyone who joined me!

It’s moments like these Mother’s Day Sessions that I feel so thankful I get to photograph special moments and help families create new memories for a living. I had an amazing time with all of these ladies and their kiddos (a few dads even made an appearance!), and I hope these photos are a treasured gift they can look back on for years to come. Or, at least until next year’s Mother’s Day Sessions!

As a thank you to every family that booked a Motherhood Mini Session with me, I want to highlight all the beautiful moms I had the opportunity to photograph.

Chelsea + Audrey

How adorable is this mother-daughter duo? Chelsea and Audrey are some of the coolest people I’ve met, and I love the edgy style they incorporated into their Mother’s Day photos. There’s something so sweet about a mom and daughter who clearly love and enjoy spending time with each other, so it wasn’t hard at all to capture some gorgeous photos of these two.

The Anderson Family

This fun and wild bunch is the Anderson family! With two boys, I’m sure there’s always a lot going on, and I’m so glad they were able to join me for Motherhood Minis. It was fun getting to capture photos of mom with each of her boys and the two brothers together because I know how hard it can be to wrangle multiple kids for photographs.

The Lapp Family

With the Lapp family, I had the honor of photographing three generations during their Motherhood Mini Session—grandma, mom, and son. These three have some of the brightest smiles, and it was so cute to see how much love is shared between them. I love a family that isn’t afraid to laugh and goof around, and the Lapp family’s fun-loving nature made their session a breeze.

Demi, Brooks + Blu

Of course, I was super excited for a fur baby to get in on the Mother’s Day Sessions, too! Demi and her charming son Brooks brought their puppy, Blu, along, and the fuzzy ball of energy was absolutely adorable. This gorgeous family is so sweet, and it was easy to catch tons of candid smiling and laughing pics thanks to Blu—how could you not fall in love with that furry face?!

Ashley + Easton

Ashley and Easton are such a cute mother-son pair, and I can totally see a modeling career in Easton’s future with that adorable smile! We had a blast dipping our toes in the sand and splashing around in the water during their Motherhood Mini Session. It’s always extra fun when mom isn’t afraid to let her hair down and follow the kid’s lead, and Easton knew exactly how to ham it up for the camera. 

Brooklin + Warren

Speaking of adorable moms and sons, I am absolutely obsessed with little Warren’s smile! He and his mama, Brooklin, joined me for a Mother’s Day Session, and it was honestly a struggle not to take thousands of pictures of the two of them. Brooklin is such an incredible boy mom, and Warren is one of the happiest babies I’ve gotten to photograph, so every second with them was a real treat.

The Lambeth Family

I love it when the dads get in on the fun, too! This was a really fun session because there was a special guest in attendance, as mom, dad, and daughter were joined by baby #2, who’ll be arriving soon. It’s always special to photograph this time before a family expands to add a new member, and I can tell the littlest Lambeth is so excited to become a big sister.

Lizzi + Jack

Lizzi and Jack had no problem making me laugh and go “aww” about a hundred times during their Motherhood Mini Session. These two have such a special connection—Lizzi looks at Jack with complete love and adoration, and Jack is just a ball of fun and cuteness. I think their mother-son photos turned out so beautiful and natural, if I do say so myself.

The Keenan Family

Last up, we have the incredible Keenan family. This family knows how to have a good time! I’m confident these kiddos have one of the coolest moms ever, and the whole family was great to work with. Mom and Dad have their hands full with two young boys, but they’re doing an amazing job raising some pretty awesome kids. I’m so glad I got to photograph this family of four for Mother’s Day!

I hope you’ve enjoyed learning a little more about these incredible superhero moms I was able to photograph for Mother’s Day 2023. I’m so thankful to each and every one of them for bringing their kiddos (and husbands and fur babies) along and trusting me to capture these precious moments. I can’t wait for next year!
