Katy Herndon | Professional Violinist Portrait Session | North Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee Photographer

Hi friends! I hope the first week of April has been treating you well – I’ve been playing catch up after taking a few days to celebrate my engagement with friends and family (make sure you’re following me on Facebook and Instagram to stay in the loop).

I’m so excited to get back into the swing of things and bring you some photos from this incredible Professional Violinist Portrait Session I shot with Katy Herndon.

Katy was one of the winners of my 10-year business anniversary giveaway, and we made a plan to meet at Fort Morgan in Baldwin County to shoot some portraits.

Katy is a professional violinist (and a professional princess – check out some of her cosplay work here) and wanted to incorporate her passion into this portrait session, which I can 100% get behind. She came with a couple of beautiful different outfit options that played up the drama, and we had so much fun exploring the fort and taking photos.

Seriously, I was getting major Scottish Highlands vibes between the beautiful setting, Katy’s incredible flowy dresses, and her epic violinist poses. We also timed the session for golden hour to incorporate some of that gorgeous natural light, which made everything look extra magical.

(Side note: if anyone in Scotland needs a photographer, I just renewed my passport and am more than willing to travel so please hit me up!)
