William + Katie | Jolimar Spring Wedding | Mississippi Wedding Photographer

Spring is, in my humble opinion, one of the best times of year to tie the knot, and William and Katie’s Jolimar spring wedding was no exception. I love shooting spring weddings because the weather is usually warm and mild and everything is starting to bloom which makes wedding photos extra gorgeous. William and Katie held their wedding at the beautiful Jolimar Summit venue in Summit, MS and the whole day was a stunning affair.

One of my favorite moments from the day was when William and Katie did their first look. Katie was a picture-perfect bride in her Unique Boutique + Bridal dress (@uniqueboutiquebartlett on Instagram) and makeup by Reese Norman. William also looked super sharp in his suit from Our Gang 2 Business. I could tell these love were seriously in love by the way they looked at each other all throughout the day, and it was so sweet to capture these memories for them. Also – can we take a minute to talk about those STUNNING bridesmaid dresses? I loved the fact that they were all different shades of blue because it kept things cohesive without making everyone too matchy-matchy. I’ve been seeing this trend a lot in recent weddings and I am so here for it!

You could tell William and Katie put a lot of thought into all the little details, from the stunning bouquet provided by Lone Star Florals to the amazing cakes from Kellie’s Kitchen Creations. Fun fact: Katie’s flowers weren’t actually real flowers – they were made out of a soft wooden material! I love the fact that she’ll be able to treasure her bouquet for years to come, and you could seriously never tell just by looking at them. Also, two words: pizza. Buffet. You read that right! These two took things to the next level by serving a pizza buffet for dinner. My mind is officially blown! With pizza in hand, the party continued long into the night thanks to DJ Aaron Tulis, and everyone had an amazing time.
