5 Fun Ways to Spend Valentine's Day in Chattanooga | Chattanooga Photographer

Valentine's Day is right around the corner and the pressure is on to plan the perfect date with your significant other. If you're located in Chattanooga, TN or plan to travel there for Valentine's Day 2023, I have the perfect list of date ideas that are fun, romantic, and budget-friendly. Here are my top suggestions on 5 Fun Ways to Spend Valentine's Day in Chattanooga!

Coolidge Park

One of my favorite things about Chattanooga is how many public parks and walking trails there are throughout the city. Coolidge Park is one of Chattanooga's most well-known attractions, and for good reason! Located in an area known as North Shore, Coolidge Park offers gorgeous views of the Chattanooga River, an interactive water fountain to cool off on hot summer days, and a beautiful 100-year-old carousel.

Walnut Street Bridge

Did you know Chattanooga is home to one of the world's longest pedestrian bridges?! Walnut Street Bridge crosses over the Chattanooga River to connect Downtown Chattanooga to the North Shore area, and it's truly a must-visit spot. What better way to spend Valentine's Day than taking a romantic stroll with your partner while taking in stunning views of one of the best cities in the Southeast?

Bluff View Art District

You've probably worked up an appetite after all that walking and Bluff View Art District is one of the best places to grab a meal in Chattanooga. This charming little corner of Chattanooga is incredibly historic, home to lots of interesting architecture, museums centering around art and history, and tons of small cafes and restaurants that are super romantic. Make sure to do some research beforehand so you can make dinner reservations if needed!

Sunset Rock

For one of the most stunning views of Chattanooga, you must pay a visit to Sunset Rock. Located atop Lookout Mountain, Sunset Rock is one of Chattanooga's best hidden gems. There is a short 0.2 mile out-and-back hike to get to the viewpoint, but it's relatively easy and so worth it. The views from Sunset Rock are gorgeous any time of day but especially jaw-dropping at sunset, as the name suggests!
