JCP CONTENT DAY

Join us Friday, December 13, 2024 at Sonrise Retreat in Valley Head, AL for a full day of beautiful, curated sessions with local vendors and creatives. This is not only a great way to network and meet more friends in local creative fields, but also a great way to grow your portfolio and get your imagination flowing!

THE LOOKS

We will be curating three different looks to appeal to a variety of creative styles. The first look is a Vintage Brunch Elopement, the second is a Wes Anderson Family Christmas, and the third is a Cozy Campfire Honeymoon.

Vintage Brunch Elopement:

a beautiful late morning brunch. warm, woody location. dusty pinks and creams with sangria, tangerine, and olive accents. pastry bar, coffee bar, and breakfast charcuterie. flowers are sweet and romantic with pops of color. dress is vintage lace or tulle with textured accents. suit is a vintage wine or blue with pink/orange floral accents.

Wes Anderson Family Christmas:

bold, colorful, and whimsical, this is a unique motel/campy family session that blends a fun family getaway with a cinematic christmas story told by Wes Anderson. shades of magenta and hunter green. whimsical christmas desserts, camping thermoses, maps, luggage and retro family attire akin to train travel in the 1940s-50s.

Cozy Campfire Honeymoon:

an after-wedding campfire at the newlyweds’ airbnb. golden hour lighting through the trees for some ethereal, romantic couple photos, followed by moody, grainy low light photos by the fire. roasting marshmallows and playing the guitar. sweet, cozy, intimate, and romantic.

THE MODELS

Meet the models bringing our looks to life...

Bella and Tysen are our beautiful model couple from Georgia State University. Tysen is pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice and Bella is majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies.

Both college athletes, Bella and Tysen met through their love of sports. Bella plays softball for GSU and Tysen plays baseball. When they aren't playing ball, they love spending time together and with their teammates.

The Roggendorffs are our model family from Nashville, TN and they are the perfect fit for this unique Wes Anderson-styled shoot!

Megan is a high school theater and literature teacher, children's bookseller and occasional actress. Her husband, Lance, is an app developer, giant nerd, and amateur mixologist. Noa is a 9th grade coding wizard, photographer, animator, musician and anime binge-watcher. And Violet is a 7th grade crocheter, knitter, babysitter, and nail and makeup artist.

Marki and Daniel are models from Chicago that moved to North Georgia for a life in the mountains with their son Callaway. They have experience in bridal modeling as well as some wardrobe and couture work.

Marki is a prior golfer and they love to go to the range as a family, as well as spend time in nature with their small zoo of rescue animals that they have accumulated in the last three years.

Hey there, I'm Jessi, your friendly neighborhood photographer. 🤗

I love photography because I love to remember things. I think it's important to remember the people and places and things that make you happy. I think the world could use a little more happy. So, I made it my job to help you do that.

If you're into personality tests (like me!), I'm an INFJ, Type 2 (but sometimes Type 7) on the Enneagram, hail from House Ravenclaw, and I am here to make you smile without saying cheese.

I love content days because it's such a fun way to meet new people in different creative fields and up your portfolio game in a unique and imaginative way. Can't wait to meet you!
